Please tell me what to expect after WHipple Surgery, My family member had it about 1 month ago and isnt feeling better and actually having new problems. Please tell me what the person should be feeling like after the surgery to remove cancer.
The person that had the surgery had 60% of the pancreas removed, 35% of the stomach removed, the gallbladder is gone along with the (didulium)<- might be spelled wrong. They were in the hospital for exactly 1 week after surgery and didnt even get a cat scan before being released. The surgery was done at a hospital where the Dr. that did the surgery was the one that practically wrote the book about pancreas cancer and whipple surgery combined (thats what the other Dr.s said anyway) I personally think the Dr. made his MONEY and doesnt care about aftercare. I dont think this is right! But we really need to know what this person should feel like right now 1 month later. Please Help
