I’m looking for a very qualified surgeon (for my 56 year old father) that is very qualified to do the “Whipple Procedure” if needed. And is familiar with Pancreatic cancer.
My Dad has an ampullary mass & they say he has a 20%-30% chance of being cancer (pancreatic). They will only know when he is operated on.
We are in Atl. GA/USA & we are ideally looking for a “medical tourist” site that HAS Dr.s on staff that can perform this type of surgery (If needed) It’s called the “Whipple Procedure”…He has NO insurance & he MUST have this mass out, or he it will turn into Cancer if it’s not already.
We have already applied with IndUSHealth & they don’t want to do it.
Now we are working with Planet Hospital & they are trying to find a qualified surgeon, but they are having a difficult time.
**PLEASE give ANY advice you have…please. I would be SO greatful for any suggestions you might have.
